Corruption in Educational Management of Thailand : A Case Study in Lower Northern Legion. Rattana Buosonte * Abstract This research concentrated to study about the corruption in educational management of Thailand which specificity in Lower Northern legion. The three research questions were set as, 1) how did the group of educational persons think about the corruption in educational management? 2) what were the item list of acting which the group of educational persons label or determine to corruption, doing a mistake in government officer tradition, violate to normal tradition of government officer behavior and normal behavior 3) how did the behavioral corruption characteristics of the person in educational management and what were causes and motivation to lead them to do corruption behavior? The quantitative and qualitative research methodology were use in this research. 386 educational persons were use to be the sample group for study in the quantitative research and 4 educational persons who doing corruption were purposive select to study in the qualitative research. The research instruments for data collecting were questionnaire, observation, interview and document. The research result were as follow: 1. According to the opinion of the group of educational persons, they thought that there were low and medium corruption behavior in the educational management of Thailand in the lower northern legion. 2. Most of the group of educational persons label or determine the items list of acting were corruption and doing a mistake in government officer tradition. 3. Corruption behavior of the 4 case studies who were the educational persons composed of buying student learning material, milk and raw material for cooking in the support food and lunch project. 4.
