Jurnal Elemen Vol. 2 No. 2, Juli 2016, hal. 92 – 115 92 PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN ARITMATIKA SOSIAL BERBASIS PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DI KELAS VII SMP Ruslan Ridwan 1 , Zulkardi 2 , Darmawijoyo 3 1 Mahasiswa Program Studi Magister Pendidikan Matematika Unsri 2 Guru Besar Program Studi Magister Pendidikan Matematika Unsri 3 Dosen Program Studi Magister Pendidikan Matematika Unsri ruslanridwan80@yahoo.com Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika materi arimatika sosial berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada kelas VII yang ditinjau dari aspek kevalidan dan kepraktisan dan menngetahui efek potensial yang timbul dari pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran tersebut, (2) mendeskripsikan karakteristik perangkat pembelajaran materi aritmatika sosial yang berbasis Problem Based Learning. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (development research) tipe formative research menurut Tessmer. Adapun tahap-tahap pengembangannya adalah Self Evaluation, prototyping dan Produk. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII.1 SMP Negeri 1 Muaradua semester genap tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang berjumlah 32 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dokumentasi, walk through, lembar observasi, dan hasil tes. Data penelitian ini dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data diketahui bahwa penelitian ini menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika materi arimetika sosial berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang valid, praktis, dan memiliki efek potensial. Perangkat pembelajaran telah valid secara isi, konstruk, dan bahasa hasil dari validasi pakar pada tahap expert review dan uji prototipe pada tahap small group, sedangkan perangkat pembelajaran praktis diperoleh dari revisi hasil uji one-to-one dan small group. Efek potensial dari perangkat pembelajaran ini diketahui dari hasil field test dan hasil tes evaluasi akhir siswa. Hasil tes akhir siswa menunjukan kategori nilai 45,16% sangat baik, 32,26% baik, dan 22,58% cukup. Dari hasil observasi yang sudah dilakukan, diperoleh persentase rata-rata aktivitas siswa diatas 81,25% yang termasuk kategori sangat baik. Kata kunci: Perangkat Pembelajaran, Problem Based Learning (PBL), Aritmatika Sosial, Penelitian pengembangan Abstract The purpose of this study is aimeds to (1) produce the mathematics lesson plan based on social arithmetic Problem Based Learning (PBL) in class VII in viewed from the aspects of validity and practicality and to know the potential effects arising from the development of the lesson plan, (2) describe the characteristics of the lesson plan based on social arithmetic Problem Based Learning. The method of the study was the development research according to the type of formative research by Tessmer. The stages of development were Self Evaluation, prototyping and product. The subjects were VII.1 grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Muaradua semester 2014/2015 academic year, consistive of 31 people. Data collection techniques used were documentation, walk-throughs, observation sheets, and test results. Data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of data analysis showed that in the mathematics lesson plan based on social arithmetic Problem Based Learning (PBL) were valid, practical, and had a potential effect. The lesson plan had a valid learning in the content, construct, and language experts based on the results of the validation stage of the expert review and the prototype test on a small group stage, while the practical lesson plan obtained from the revised test results of one-to-one and small group.
