Considerações Finais Referências RESUMO: O objetivo deste trabalho é conhecer o perfil da literatura sobre liderança autêntica . Foi realizada uma análise bibliométrica dos artigos publicados na Web of Science, SCOPUS e EBSCO entre os anos de 1997 e 2013. Foram selecionados 162 artigos, escritos por 332 autores, em 92 fontes de publicação, vinculados a 152 instituições de 29 países. Como principais autores, destacam: Avolio, Gardner, Luthans e Walumbwa. O periódico The Leadership Quarterly se sobressai, com 28 artigos publicados e, é o mais citado pelos trabalhos selecionados (com 2.729 citações). Os autores agrupamse em quatro clusters mais significativos, cujas conexões se mostram mais fortes entre os autores Walumbwa, Gardner e Avolio. Este estudo permitiu identificar o perfil dos estudos realizados sobre este tema, com uma perspectiva abrangente e retrospectiva das publicações. Os resultados encontrados nesta pesquisa inédita retratam o contínuo interesse da comunidade científica internacional em estudar liderança autêntica, o que valida a realização deste estudo ao servir de referência às pesquisas sobre este tema. É importante desenvolver estudos sobre este tema a partir de pesquisadores de nacionalidades diferentes da predominante (Estados Unidos), a fim de ampliar e consolidar o tema. Palavraschave: liderança autêntica; liderança; análise bibliométrica. ABSTRACT: The aim of this work is to understand the profile of the literature about authentic leadership. A bibliometric analysis was done in Web of Science, Scopus and EBSCO, between the years 1997 and 2013. We found 162 articles written by 332 authors in 92 published sources, linked to 152 institutions from 29 countries. As principal authors, we have: Avolio, Gardner, Luthans and Walumbwa. The Leadership Quarterly is the journal with more number of published articles and more citations. The authors are distributed in four most significant clusters, which strongest connections are among Walumbwa Gardner and Avolio. This study identified the profile of studies on this topic with a broad perspective and retrospective publications. The findings of this unpublished research depict the continued interest of the international scientific community to study authentic leadership, which validates this study to serve as a reference for research on this topic. It is important to develop studies on this topic from researchers of different nationalities in order to expand and consolidate the topic.
