All organic chemicals were purchased from Sigma–Aldrich, Fluka, Merck, Alfa Aesar,
Acros, and Matrix. All solvents were of HPLC grade. NMR spectra were measured
using a Bruker 300 or 500 MHz spectrometer with chloroform)d and/or dimethyl
sulfoxide)d

as solvents. UV–Vis spectra were recorded using a Shimadzu UV3600
UV–Vis–NIR spectrophotometer, with DMF as a solvent. Electrospray ionization
mass spectrometry was performed using a JMS)700 HRMS spectrometer. FTIR
spectra were recorded using Perkin Elmer (FTS)40). Cyclic voltammograms were
collected using a CHI 627C electrochemical analyser (CH Instruments). The
electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) was performed using a Zahner IM6e
Impedance Analyzer (ZAHNER)Elektrik GmbH & CoKG, Kronach, Germany).
