The major aim is the data arrangement task which can be handled in such a way to provide velocity, variety and high volume [2−5]. In today’s world the amount of data generated is very high so by the use of big data framework, different computational aspects can be applied successfully [4−6]. The main capabilities of this environment are data processing with high volume, time saving and the better efficiency [8, 9]. Big data environment can be better understood by the following attributes [8−12]: Volume: The amount of data processed or generated comes under the volume category. Variety: It is the type of data under structured and unstructured category. Velocity: data or information processed or generated speed comes under the velocity category. *Author for correspondence Value: knowledge processing under the process of the above generation and processing in different levels. Big data processing covers data, analytics and decision (Figure 1). Figure 2 shows the big data applications. It is increasing day by day. It is tough to handle it through traditional applications like excel or any other tools. So, big data analytics and environment may be helpful in the current scenario and the situation discussed above. This paper discussed the big data management ways with the impact of computational methodologies. It also covers the applicability domains and areas. It explores the computational methods applicability scenario and their conceptual design based on the previous literature. Machine learning, artificial intelligence and data mining techniques have been discussed for the same environment based on the related study.
