The research method used was an experimental method. About the experimental method, Arikunto (2002: 03) explains that: "experiment is a way to look for a causal relationship (causal relationship) between factors that are intentionally caused by researchers by eliminating / reducing or setting aside disturbing factors". In this study The variable that was tried was learning using rubber ball and basketball shooting. Based on PJKR D student learning outcomes in the first cycle the average value of learning the basketball shooting ability was 22.59 (58.8%) and in the second cycle was 26.00 (94 , 1%). This indicates that there was a significant increase in learning outcomes of shooting abilities using rubber ball media. Based on the results of the study showed that the application of learning by using a rubber ball can attract the interest of PJKR students playing basketball. PJKR lecturers in order to modify existing teaching methods so that PJKR Student interests can be increased so that Lecturers as teaching staff can more easily convey the available material. By looking at the modified physical education learning outcomes, of course it can be developed with other learning approaches. Keywords: Rubber ball media, Shooting, basketball. Abstrak
