A Report on the Results of Recent Archaeological and Archaeometric Research Summary This paper provides a thorough overview of a recent research project on Ancient, Byzantine, and Islamic glass fnds from Pergamon. The broad typological spectrum and the chemical composition of the glass fnds are presented in order to trace the development of glass production and glass trade between Antiquity and the Middle Ages, based upon this important site.
