Jl. Prof. Dr. Hamka, Kampus Air Tawar Padang email: moralitachatri@gmail.com Abstract. Fusarium oxysporum fungus is a fungal pathogen commonly found in horticultural plants. This fungus causes fusarium wilt disease. Synthetic fungicides are an option that farmers often use to inhibit the spread of this fungus. However, its use causes many negative impacts to the environment. Trichoderma harzianum has antagonistic properties that can replace synthetic fungicides inhibiting the growth of F. oxysporum. T. harzianum requires a carrier medium such as rice. But it requires a high enough cost and compete with human needs. For that done a mix between rice and bagasse to search for alternative media. The goal is to get a growing medium that is more effective and efficient. This study used Completely Randomized Design with 5 treatments and 3 replications. The medium consists of A. 100% rice medium, B. 100% bagasse medium, C. Media of rice and bagasse (1:1), D. Media of rice and bagasse (2:1), and E. Media of rice and bagasse (1:2). Parameters observed were T. harzianum growth, conidia density, and percentage of resistance to F. oxysporum. The results of this study indicate that T. harzianum can grow on a mixture of rice media with bagasse. Media grows in growth, conidia density, and inhibitory effect on F. oxysporum The best growth is in 100% bagasse medium, highest conidial density on 100% (11.6 x 109/mL) rice medium and highest percentage of inhibitory power on media 100% bagasse (60%). This shows that the best alternative media is 100% bagasse waste. I. PENDAHULUAN Jamur Fusarium oxysporum merupakan salah satu organisme penyerang tanaman (OPT). Jamur ini umumnya ditemukan pada tanaman holtikultura, seperti cabai, kentang, tomat dan lainnya. Jamur F. oxysporum akan menyebabkan penyakit layu fusarium pada inangnya dengan tingkat penyebaran yang relatif cepat. Layu fusarium sangat mempengaruhi produksi tanaman yang menjadi inangnya dan merupakan salah satu penyakit tanaman yang berbahaya.
