Abstract- As technologies advance rapidly, privacy and
security issues have become one of the top concerns in the digital
communication today. Thus, we are trying to understand and
drawing a conceptual view that relies on how people perceive
privacy and security in this era of dynamic digital proliferation. In
order to analyze and see what a person's impression regarding the
privacy and security of online merchants, online social network,
and other digital media, this research uses one of the most widely
used social network, Twitter, to analyze Twitter users'
interactions with one another for the purpose of extracting
meaningful data to aid in determining users' perception to privacy
and security of the digital world. Based on this analysis, we have
constructed our study and drawn our conclusions. This research
uses statistical learning approach to analyze tweets and efficiently
discover privacy and security issues of online merchants, social
network, and other prominent digital media outlets. For gathering
the essential information, more than two million relevant tweets
through the span of two years were used to conduct the study. The

I. INTRODUCTION
Privacy is a vital aspect of the study. It is a social
phenomenon where other people should not observe an
individual [1]. It is culturally sensitive and contextually based
[2]. Nevertheless, regarding information system management,
it includes three important aspects, such as confidentiality,
integrity, and availability [3]. In this regard, the study will
attempt to understand how various individuals perceive privacy
and security issues through their views, opinions on their social
network posts, particularly Twitter [4], [5]. Consequently,
social network privacy is a vital aspect of the study.
People have different views on social network. According
to Statista, Twitter users, as of20l9, worldwide is 500 million

[6]. In this respect, different studies, such as Chakraborty et aI.,
[7], Adam, et aI., [8] and Liang, et aI., [9] have revealed that
Twitter users are concerned about the privacy and security of
social network websites. Regardless, Espinosa & Xiao [10],
report that women are more likely to have privacy issues
compared to men. As such, the analysis of different posts and
tweets can help draw an overview of the perception of privacy
and security.
This study focuses on the users' tweets on privacy and
security to identify their perception. Consequently, to gather the
tweets, various watchwords are utilized including Health
Information Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA),
iCloud, data privacy and information security, In the underlying
investigation, each catchphrase was that matched the issues of
privacy and security were used [11]. As a second step of the
investigation, all numbers, images, and other non-word content
are sifted through and further talk examination is done to decide
how these words are developing and corresponding. From the
research, Twitter users are worried about their online life
individual information security especially when the
organization changes its privacy terms. The tweets of the
Twitter users demonstrate that they frequently talk about cell
phones privacy and security to further help the individuals who
intend to purchase soon. Additionally, they are likewise worried
about various acts and laws that effect the security terms of
Twitter and how it influences their privacy and security [12]. In
this regard, privacy and security issues in Twitter accounts have
become prevalent in social network.
A. Problem Statement
Innovations have enabled the widespread use of social
network. It has become a necessary tool that enables people to
share their ideas and thoughts without bias [4]. Besides, it is
built on a business model, which depends on user data for
communication and improving its business model [11]. Since
the data is not only essential to the users but also the
