Abstract
Empirical evidence and therapeutc interactons have
suggested that individuals with Borderline Personality Dis-
order (BPD) may demonstrate defcits in neuropsychological
cognitve and interpersonal aspects. ‘Borderline Personality
Disorder’ term refers to a psychiatric syndrome that is char-
acterized by emoton dysregulaton, impulsivity, risk-taking
behavior, irritability, feelings of emptness, self-injury, and
fear of abandonment, as well as unstable interpersonal re-
latonships. Many typical symptoms of Borderline Personal-
ity Disorder occur within interpersonal contexts, suggestng
that BPD is characterized by aberrant social cogniton. To
assess the empirical evidence and evaluate Borderline Per-
sonality Disorder impact under social and emotonal cog-
niton efect, Borderline Disorder symptoms and etology
percepton are strongly involved. Studies concerning be-
havioral and neural underpinnings of the disorder, cognitve
processes that help people to interact efectvely with each
other depending upon the exchange of social signs based
on social cogniton theory, are also discussed. Authors main
objectve is to review the infuence of neuropsychological
cognitve and interpersonal features, within the frame of
cognitve functons as well as under emotonal and social
cogniton infuence.

Introducton
Cognitve psychology or else cognitve neuroscience is relat-
ed with the percepton of basic component processes of percep-
ton, atenton, categorizaton, discriminaton, generalizaton,
learning, memory, as well as how these processes work togeth-
er, how they are afected by emoton and the conditons under
which they are disrupted. Almost every symptomatc aspects
of Borderline Personality Disorder refect the outcome of some
atypical cogniton. In additon, a key point in order to perceive
Borderline Disorder is the potental interactons between cog-
niton and emoton [1]. Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)
is characterized by a pervasive instability of interpersonal rela-
tonships, afects, self-image, marked impulsivity, dissociaton,
and psychotc symptoms. The empirical evidence from studies
of cognitve processes, brain functon, atachment, and disso-
ciaton that support this theory are reviewed and discussed [2].
However, research has focused increasingly on developmental
precursors to psychological disorders that were previously as-
sumed to emerge only in adulthood [3].
