DOI: http://dx.doi.org/ 10.14582/DUZGEF.2021.179 ÖZ Çalışmanın amacı ilkokul 4.sınıf matematik ders kitaplarının anayasaya ve mevzuata uygunluk yönünden incelenmesidir. Bu kapsamda Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı (MEB) yayınevi ve ATA yayıncılık tarafından hazırlanan ilkokul 4.sınıf matematik ders kitapları incelenmek üzere seçilmiştir. Tarama yöntemiyle incelenen ders kitaplarında yer alan metin ve görseller, araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen değerlendirme formu ile analiz edilmiştir. Değerlendirme formunda yer alan maddeler MEB (2019) Talim ve Terbiye Kurulu Başkanlığı, ‘Taslak ders kitabı ve eğitim araçları ile bunlara ait e-içeriklerin incelenmesinde değerlendirmeye esas olacak kriterler ve açıklamalar” bölümü dikkate alınarak oluşturulmuştur. Araştırma sonucunda; MEB yayınevi ve ATA yayıncılık tarafından hazırlanan ders kitaplarının çoğunlukla Anayasaya ve mevzuata uygun olduğu görülürken, aynı zamanda her iki ders kitabının benzer olumsuz unsurlar taşıdığı tespit edilmiştir. Bu unsurların; toplumsal eşitsizlik, cinsiyet eşitsizliği ve içeriğin toplumun tüm katmanlarına hitap etmemesiyle ilgili olduğu görülmüştür. Anahtar Kelimeler: Matematik ders kitapları, anayasa ve mevzuata uygunluk, görsel inceleme, metin inceleme, ders kitapları Examination of Primary School 4th Grade Mathematics Textbooks in Terms of Compliance with the Constitution and Legislation ABSTRACT The aim of the study is to examine primary school 4th grade mathematics textbooks in terms of compliance with the constitution and legislation. In this context, primary school 4th grade mathematics textbooks prepared by the Ministry of National Education and ATA publications were selected for analysis. The text and images in the books examined by scanning method were analyzed with the evaluation form developed by the researchers. In the prepared form, MEB (2019) Board of Education and Discipline, ‘Criteria and explanations that will be the basis for evaluation in the examination of the draft textbook and training tools and their e-contents” were taken into consideration. As a result of the research, it was seen that the books prepared by both publishers are mostly in accordance with the constitution and legislation. Both textbooks have similar negative elements. It is seen that these elements are related to social equality, gender equality and the content appealing to all layers of the society.
