Prof. Sudharto, Tembalang, Semarang, Indonesia ABSTRACT The development of data access in mobile cellular technology is currently growing very rapidly with increasing information needs. CDMA is a multiple access technique that separates the conversations in the domain code. The use CDMA2000 1x technology allows customers to enjoy not only voice services but also high-speed data services with access speeds that can reach 153.6 Kbps. Quality system based on CDMA cellular system can be measured by looking at some of the network Quality of Service parameters. One of the QoS parameters of the drop call analysis through statistical data. It also can be used in the analysis of service quality through drive test data. By varying the optimization process, need to categorizing the stages of the optimization process based on the value of related parameters. The packet data service analysis is done by making simulation. The simulation consists of three main parts: simulation of drop call analysis, analysis of real drop call data and simulation of analysis drive test data. Several parameters are used to analyze the drop call such an error message TCH, no reverse received frames, A bis interface failure, A 1 interface failure, PCF failure, hard handoff failure and other factors. Using several parameter including FFER (Forward Frame Error Rate), RSSI (Receive Signal Strength Indicator), E c / I o , T x G a (Transmitter Gain Adjust), and T x P o (Transmitter Power) to simulate an analysis drive test data. The results show site will be required optimization if the value of the Call Drop Rate exceeds 1.5%. From some sites that are analyzed, Call Drop Rate of Telkom Flexi is not high except in the BTS Tembalang that is equal to 2.71%, 2.80%, 2:06% and 1.77%. Factor of drop call mostly due to the error message TCH or too many Erasure frames. Analysis of drive test results show that most factors that affect the poor quality of packet data services because of the interference factor. Keyword : CDMA, packet data, quality, drop call, drive test PENDAHULUAN Seiring dengan berkembangnya zaman, sekarang ini kebutuhan manusia akan bidang telekomunikasi juga semakin meningkat. Tidak hanya teknologi dalam layanan suara saja tetapi juga meliputi layanan data yang akan terus berkembang. CDMA 2000 1x merupakan pengembangan dari CDMAOne yang diharapkan mampu menyediakan layanan data dengan kecepatan tinggi sampai dengan 153 Kbps pada sebuah kanal selebar 1,25 MHz. Unjuk kerja sistem selular baik berbasis sistem CDMA maupun GSM dapat diukur dengan melihat beberapa parameter Quality of Service (QoS) jaringan. Salah satu parameter QoS yakni tingkat drop call yang rendah. Dengan beragamnya proses optimasi, untuk itu perlu dikategorikan tahapan- tahapan proses optimasi berdasarkan nilai parameter yang berkaitan. Simulasi analisis drop call dapat digunakan untuk mempermudah proses optimasi serta membahas tentang drop call yang terjadi pada layanan akses paket data studi kasus pada PT.Telkom Flexi RO Semarang. Selain menggunakan data statistik, digunakan juga data hasil drive test yang dapat mempermudah penentuan proses optimasi. Tujuan dalam tugas akhir ini adalah membuat program simulasi yang dapat digunakan untuk menghitung nilai Call Drop Rate (CDR) pada sistem CDMA 2000-1x dan menentukan penyebab drop call yang sesuai. Membuat program simulasi yang dapat digunakan untuk menentukan unjuk kerja sistem CDMA 2000-1x menggunakan analisis data drive test. Manfaat dari penulisan tugas akhir ini adalah mengetahui nilai Call Drop Rate (CDR) pada sistem CDMA 2000-1x melalui proses pengambilan data dari OMC Telkom Flexi dan menganalisis faktor-faktor penyebab drop call untuk memberikan solusi yang tepat. Mengetahui pengaruh parameter data drive test pada kualitas sistem CDMA 2000-1x.
