The successful implementation of Hito Zukuri is portrayed as a research result in helping the supplier community to develop a more stable and efficient model. HITO ZUKURI Supply quality is a function of buyer-supplier relationship, effective communication and quality system of supplier. Operations management literature prescribes various practices in supply quality management (SQM). Supplier quality management or supply management is an essential component in TQM (Ahire et al., 1996; Fernandez, 1995; Saraph et al., 1989), because poor supply quality results in high levels of inventory and order backlogs (Shin et al., 2000). The concept that is related to human control approach practice can be categorized under the philosophy of Hito Zukuri. It is also so called “making people”. The objective of this study is to accumulate and group together the positive effect and if, the negative impact of Hito Zukuri if there is any and study the effects and possibilities of applying them in a practical industrial application. Toyota has been the only known multinational company which has utilizing the application of Hito Zukuri. The result shown a tremendous customer satisfaction in the United States of America and Asia and has been the top car industries for the last decades ( Toyota Annual Report 2007).
