Salah satu upaya SMK Negeri 1 Tampaksiring adalah perbaikan SDM untuk memanfaatkan TI dalan proses pembelajaran, serta pembaharuan sistem informasi dan fasilitas penunjangnya,Untuk bisa menjadi smart school, perlu perencanaan yang matang agar tersusun rancana (blue print) sistem informasi sekolah yang terintegrasi. Untuk mendapatkan rencana strategis yang sesuai dengan visi, misi dan tujuan SMK Negeri 1 Tampaksiring dengan menerapkan kerangka model Ward and Peppard. Kegiatan pada metode ini melakukan analisis kondisi internal Sekolah dan aktivitas didalam Sekolah. Tools untuk analisa antara lain menggunkan analisa SWOT,analisis value chain, analisis five force porter, McFarrland Grid, analisis critical succes factor (CSF). Dengan menggunakan analisa dari beberapa tool akan menghasilkan, usulan pembentukan bagian Information and Communication Technology ( ICT ), dan strategi TI untuk melengkapi sarana dan prasarana untuk menunjang usulan portofolio aplikasi yang akan datang, serta rencana smart school ini akan menjadi roadmap sebagai bahan acuan implementasi bagi SMK Negeri 1 Tampaksiring di masa mendatang. Kata Kunci: Perencananan smart school, framework ward and peppard, strategi teknologi informasi SMK Negeri 1 Tampaksiring ABSTRACT Vocational school is a formal education which is aimed at producing graduates who are prepared to work in the business and industrial field. In order to reach that goal, process by process must be carried out. One of the strategies attempted by SMK Negeri 1 Tampaksiring is improving the human resources in utilizing technology and information for supporting the learning process, as well as renewing the information systems and supporting facilities. In order to reach the school objective to become a smart school, a well prepared planning is required, so that an integrated school information system (blueprint) can be achieved. To get a strategic plan in accordance with the vision, mission and objectives of SMK Negeri 1 Tampaksiring the Ward and Peppard model framework was applied. This method was focused on the analysis of the school’s internal conditions and activities within the school. Tools of analysis included SWOT analysis, value chain analysis, five force porter analysis, McFarrland Grid, critical success factor analysis (CSF). By using various kinds of analysis tools, proposals for the formation of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT), and IT strategies is produced to complement the facilities and infrastructure which support the further portfolio proposal of the applications, moreover this smart school plan will become the roadmap as a reference for implementation in SMK Negeri 1 Tampaksiring in the future.
