Revista Signum, 2017, vol. 18, n. 2. 114 INFERNO: DE RUBRICAS, DE ENCENAÇÕES..., DE VOLTA ÀS FONTES INFERNO: OF HEADINGS, OF STAGING..., BACK TO THE SOURCES Márcio Muniz Universidade Federal da Bahia/ CNPq Resumo: Retomando estudos publicados anteriormente, nos quais analisei, em perspectiva estrutural, a relação do Auto da Barca do Inferno com os tratados medievais das Artes de morrer, amplio a proposição feita naqueles estudos observando, agora, o momento da representação, uma das forças criadoras de forma do teatro de Gil Vicente, segundo Margarida Vieira Mendes. Para tanto, considero duas edições quinhentistas de Inferno, a de 1517, em folha volante, e a de 1562, na Copilaçam de todalas obras de Gil Vicente, discutindo a Ǯautoridadeǯ desses testemunhos, a autoria deles, as indicações sobre as circunstâncias de representação do auto fornecidas por suas rubricas e outras indicações contextuais presentes nelas. Palavras-chaves: Auto da Barca do Inferno, Gil Vicente, Artes de Morrer Abstract: Taking up previously published studies, in which I analyzed, in a structural perspective, the relation of the Auto da Barca do Inferno with the medieval treatises of the Arts of dying, broad the proposition made in those studies observing now the moment of the representation, one of the creative forces of form of Gil Vicenteǯs theater, according to Margarida Vieira Mendes. To this end, I consider two fifteenth editions of Inferno, that of 1517, in a folha volante, and that of 1562, in Copilaçam de todalas obras de Gil Vicente, discussing the 'authority' of these testimonies, their authorship, the indications about the circumstances of representation of the self provided by its rubrics and other contextual indications present in them.
