The present study aims to find the teacher freezing level of senior secondary school teachers with reference to certain demographic variables. Using descriptive research methods, the sample for the present study consisted of 160 secondary school teachers of Aligarh district of Uttar Pradesh (U.P.). In order to assess teacher freezing, the Teacher Freezing Scale (TFS) by Haseen Taj (1998) was administered on the sampled teachers. Mean, Standard Deviations and t-test were used to analyze the obtained data. The study showed an average level of teacher freezing among secondary school teachers. Further analysis of the data candidly revealed that no significant difference was found between teacher freezing level of male and female secondary school teachers. But, a significant difference was found in the teacher freezing level of secondary school teachers with reference to the type of schools (government/private) and teaching subject of the teachers (Arts/Science).
