Estudios de Lingüística Chibcha (ISSN 1409-245X) 34: 121-138, 2015 ________ Universidad de Costa Rica < info@karlaramos.net > Recepción: 28/08/2015- Aceptación: 08/10/2015 PROCESO DE CREACIÓN DE UN MATERIAL DIDÁCTICO PARA LA ENSEÑANZA DEL MALECU A NIÑOS EN EDAD PREESCOLAR Karla Ramos Rivas Resumen Este artículo describe el proceso de creación de un material didáctico para la enseñanza del malecu como segunda lengua a niños entre los 2 y los 6 años de edad, con la participación activa de miembros de la comunidad indígena. El proceso consistió en los siguientes pasos: crear ilustraciones e interpretarlas; crear un personaje y un guion narrativo como hilo conductor de los temas de las unidades didácticas; diseñar las unidades didácticas a partir del enfoque basado en tareas, la respuesta física total, la perspectiva coaccional y las inteligencias múltiples; y elicitar los datos lingüísticos en con un hablante. Se arguye que el material obtenido es innovador por la metodología comunicativa que adopta; por la edad de la población meta a la que va dirigido; por responder a un programa de revitalización en la casa y no en la escuela; y por ser el resultado de un proceso interdisciplinario y creativo en varias de sus etapas. Abstract This article describes the creation of didactic material for Teaching Malecu as a Second Language to children from 2 to 6 years of age, with active participation by members of the indigenous community. The process consisted of the following steps: the creation and interpretation of illustrations; the creation of a character and narra- tive script that serve as a unifying thread for the didactic units themes; the design of didactic units based on homework, Total Physical Response, a Co-action Perspective and Multiple Intelligences; and the gathering of linguistic data with the assistance of a speaker. It is argued that the didactic material is innovative for the communicational methodology adopted, for the age of the target group to which it is directed, for its suitability as a home-based, rather than school-based, revitalization program, and for being the product of an interdisciplinary and creative approach at several stages.
