ISSN 1605-8933 25(2015)91-112 UNMSM, LIMA, PERÚ REVISTA DE SOCIOLOGÍA 25 /91 Tecnologías e imaginarios virtuales en la cotidianidad juvenil 1 Jerjes LOAYZA JAVIER RESUMEN Se analizan las consecuencias de las redes sociales en los últimos 5 años desde dos tipos de mediadores sociales: el Messenger y el Facebook. Para ello se describe los mecanismos del chat, como modo de interacción en tiempo real, para ahondar en el modo en que las juventudes vienen construyendo nuevas formas socialización a través de códigos especializados. Al acrecentarse la desconfianza la migración hacia redes sociales en donde los usuarios demostrarían su existencia gracias a sus fotos y comentarios como el Facebook o WattsApp no se hizo esperar. Se percibe, así, la proliferación de los “no lugares” como espacios de aislamiento social para mantener viva dicha fantasía virtual. Technologies and virtual imaginary in the youth daily ABSTRACT The objective of this investigation is to analyze the consecuenques of social network use in the last five years, taking two different kinds of social mediators: Msn messenger and Facebook. For this, we describe the chat mechanisms, as a way of real time interac- tion, to deepen the ways in wich young people build new kinds of socialization using specialized codes. As distrust grows, the migration towards social networks where the users can demonstrate their existence with photographs and comments as is the case in Facebook or Wattsapp didn´t came as a surprise. These “nowhere places” are perceived as spaces of social islation that allow a virtual fantasy.
