De entrada, se subraya la poca sujeción de la palabra sobre la imagen y se sitúan los patrones melódicos más habituales en este contexto informativo. El núcleo del texto se centra en la descripción de los énfasis de palabra ascendente que tienen lugar en los numerales y en palabras con una sílaba acabada en lateral o nasal, y, colateralmente, aborda los énfasis de regularidad y de irregulari- dad, ya que se caracterizan por ser un conjunto de énfasis de palabra ascendente que se dan de forma regular o irregular en el cuerpo del enun- ciado. Abstract This paper contributes some first results about the emphasis of word in television headlines in Catalan. The subordination of the word to the image is nearly not observed. Moreover, this study helps us to determine the prosodic pat- terns which are more used in this informative context. The nucleus of the text centres on the descrip- tion of the emphasis of rising word that takes place in the numerals and in words whose sylla- ble are ended in lateral or nasal. There are also the emphasis of regularity and irregularity; they can be defined as a group of emphasis of the ris- ing word, which they appear in a regular or ir- regular way in the body of the statement.
