Abstract
In this paper few models are proposed, in which the flow distribution and transfer of heat
ofproposed model are discussed and compared with each other. The models evaluated the
amountof transfer of heat and pressure drop. An analysis is conducted Numerical based on full
factorialDOE (design of experiments) to create a model by means of different parameters such
as flowrates and temperatures. The developed model is then tested and validated by comparing
theconsequences with the numerical results.Performance evaluation for heat exchanger of
shelland tube type is developed using Ansys. This paper suggests a novel perspective and to
evaluateReliable Performance Assessment of Heat Exchanger using the DOE, ANSYS.Thus,
modelstillhavechanceto beimproved.

1 Introduction
TheHE(heatexchanger)isathermalenergytransferaldevicewhichexchangetheheatbetween hot
fluid and cold fluid (liquid, gas.,) without mixing of the both fluid which is takepart in the HT
(HT stands for heat transfer) since both fluids are maintained not contact witheach other by help
of a solid wall usually. There are some unique sorts of HE (HE stands forheat exchanger) that
are utilized depending on the application. For instance, double pipe HE isused in
chemicalprocess like condensing the vapourto theliquid.Thesize of material thatwant to use
must be considered since it affects the overall HTC (HTC stands for heat transfercoefficient) to
make this typeof HE. The outlet temperature for both hot and cold fluidsobtainedisassessed by
using thebestdesignfor thistypeof heat exchanger.In processindustries, heat exchanger has great
value applications. Heat exchanger exchanges thermalenergy between two bodies carrying
flowing fluids. In any process which involve heat
transfer(likecondensationheating,cooling,boilingetc.)demandsaHEtoattainthermalenergy
