The study, carried out in line with the method of discourse analysis, is aimed at describing the practices of construction the regional identity of Kaliningrad, Sverdlovsk and Tatarstan residents (the material of the research is the media discourse of these regions). Regional identity is considered as a discursive construct, based on spatial and temporal identification, entering into a complex interaction with a set of heterogeneous thematic identifications. It is shown that the following practices play an important role for the spatial identification of the residents of listed regions: 17 -312-00143 "Regional identity of Russians in the media discourse: unity and diversity".
