Jurnal EducatiO Vol. 10 No. 1, Juni 2015, hal. 27-39 27 PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MODEL SNOWBALLTHROWING DENGAN MEDIA AUDIO VISUAL TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR SEJARAH Abdul Rasyad, Muhtasar Program Studi Pendidikan IPS, STKIP Hamzanwadi Selong rasyad.iis@gmail.com Abstract The general objective of this rsearch was to determine the effect of the use of the model Snowball Throwing the Audio Visual Media on learning achievement history class XI MA Mu'alimin NWe Pancor learning year 2014/2015. The method used in this study is the experimental method, which is a real experimental study using the treatment in the experimental group. Subjects were placed as the experimental group was given treatment by providing a model of learning with Snowball Throwing the Audio Visual Media and the comparison group (control) was not given any treatment. The results showed that there were differences in learning achievement between students who learned with using models Snowball Throwing the Audio Visual Media compared with students who learned with conventional learning model. Students who learned with using models Snowball Throwing the Audio Visual Media has an average score higher than students who learned with conventional models. Results of statistical analysis to post-test results of each group using t-test results show that the learning achievement of students that learned the history of the group using the model Snowball Throwing the Audio Visual Media better with a group of students who dibelajarkankan using conventional methods. It shows that the proposed hypothesis is accepted. Tujuan umum dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model Snowball Throwing dengan Media Audio Visual terhadap prestasi belajar sejarah siswa kelas XI MA Mu’alimin NW Pancor tahun pembelajaran 2014/2015. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen, yaitu penelitian eksperimen sungguhan dengan menggunakan perlakuan pada kelompok eksperimen. Subyek yang ditempatkan sebagai kelompok eksperimen diberikan perlakuan dengan memberikan pembelajaran dengan model Snowball Throwing dengan Media Audio Visual dan kelompok pembanding (control) tidak diberikan perlakuan apa-apa.
