Ace.:25/10/2017 RESUMO Anualmente surgem milhares de ideias e conceitos inovadores em todo o mundo, considerando o grande avanço das tecnologias modernas, para que estas se tornem inovadoras, elas precisam acompanhar as tendências de mercado. Neste trabalho, pretende-se analisar o potencial tecnológico da patente BR 1020160289912 "Dispositivo e Processo de Monitoramento e Avaliação de Posicionamento e de Movimento Corporal" por meio da prospecção tecnológica em bases de patentes e periódicos utilizando termos selecionados. Os Estados Unidos e a China lideram o ranking de publicações em artigos e depósitos de patentes de dispositivos de movimento corporal. No mesmo tema, foram constatadas 1.530 patentes e 6.461 artigos em periódicos de relevância internacional até 2016. Através disso, foi possível observar que os desenvolvimentos na área se encontram com baixo grau de maturidade tecnológica com base na análise de TRL, sendo necessário mais pesquisas e desenvolvimento tecnológico para o setor. Contudo, a análise FOFA e a pesquisa de mercado mostrou potencial competitivo desta tecnologia no país sendo possível a negociação de contratos de transferência de tecnologia. TECHNOLOGICAL EVALUATION OF BODY MOVEMENT DEVICE ABSTRACT Every year thousands of innovative ideas and concepts emerge around the world, considering the great advance of modern technologies, so that they become innovative, they need to keep up with market trends. In this work, it is intended to analyze the technological potential of the patent BR 1020160289912 "Device and Process of Monitoring and Evaluation of Positioning and Body Movement" by means of technological prospection in patent bases and periodicals using selected terms. The United States and China lead the ranking of publications on articles and patent repositories of body movement devices. In the same theme, 1,530 patents and 6,461 articles were found in journals of international relevance until 2016. Through this, it was possible to observe that the developments in the area have a low degree of technological maturity based on the TRL analysis, requiring more research and technological development for the sector. However, the FOFA analysis and market research showed the competitive potential of this technology in the country being possible to negotiate technology transfer contracts.
