This paper presents an analysis of the consumption and price of the materials for the production of precast RC purlins of 6.0 m span for different spacing, shapes and dimen- sions of the cross section, aiming to achieve the minimum total cost of materials for production of the purlins of a two-bay hall, with meeting the requirements of resistance, service- ability and durability. INTRODUCTION The most important condition which, from the aspect of the constructor, one structure should fulfill is its reliability. У раду je приказанa анализa утрошка и цене материјала за израду префабрикованих АБ рожњача рас- пона 6.0 m, за различите размаке, облике и димензије попречног пресека, чији је циљ био постизање минималне укупне цене материјала за извођење рожњача једне дво- бродне хале, уз испуњење захтева носивости, употребљивости и трај- ности.
