Deste modo, a pesquisa se mostra relevante visto que a partir dos seus resultados sera possivel perceber como ocorre o desenvolvimento das novas e velhas politicas de enfrentamento a violencia sexual contra a mulher durante a pandemia do covid-19 e como essa mulher e reconhecida como sujeita de direito, o que permitira uma visao geral da situacao das instituicoes responsaveis por acolher, investigar e julgar os casos referidos a Lei Maria da Penha (incluindo equipe, estrutura, funcionamento, deficiencias e acoes) a luz do Codigo Penal, no que se refere aos crimes Contra a Dignidade Sexual. A pesquisa ultiliza entrevistas semiestruturadas e conversas com mulheres usuarias e profissionais do servico. Palavras-chaves: Violência sexual; Covid-19; Pandemia; São Luís/MA; Lei Maria da Penha. ABSTRACT This article aims to publish preliminary data from the analysis of domestic sexual violence against women during the covid-19 pandemic in the municipality of São Luís/MA. Thus, the research is relevant because from its results it will be possible to perceive how the development of new and old policies of confrontation to sexual violence against women occurs during the pandemic of covid-19 and how this woman is recognized as a subject of law, which will allow an overview of the situation of the institutions responsible for receiving, investigating and judging the cases referred to the Maria da Penha Law (including staff, structure, operation, deficiencies and actions) in the light of the Penal Code, regarding crimes against sexual dignity.
