Professor da Escola de Educação da Universidade Anhembi Morumbi-SP. Resumo Este artigo objetiva discutir a justa raiva como categoria do pensamento freiriano. Para isso, procura-se diferenciá-la da raivosidade e articular a noção de rebeldia como deflagração da justa raiva e etapa transitória que precede a revolução. Conclui-se que a justa raiva é uma categoria essencial da utopia freiriana de transformação do mundo e que senti-la é um direito daqueles que se indignam perante a desumanização. Palavras-chave: Paulo Freire; transformação do mundo. Abstract This article aims to discuss the just anger as a freirean category of thinking. To this end, we seek to distinguish the just anger from rage and articulate the idea of rebellion as the outbreak of the just anger and as the transitional stage that precedes the revolution. It is concluded that the just anger is an essential category of Freire's utopia of transformation of the world and that this feeling is a right of those who are indignant towards dehumanization.
