As considerações aqui apresentadas são parte de estudos sobre a revisão de literatura que estão sendo desenvolvidos para elaboração de tese de doutorado. Procuramos evidenciar o que se entende por demonstração em Matemática e por meio da teoria dos registros de representação semiótica, evidenciar que esta atividade Matemática está ligada as diferentes representações que podem ter um mesmo objeto de estudo. Ao final concluímos que o trabalho com demonstrações em Geometria que leve em consideração a diversidades de registros de representação podem fazer alunos evoluírem em suas aprendizagens. Abstract This article aims to present a reflection on the role that the semiotic registers representation in play activities demonstrations in Euclidean geometry. The considerations presented here are part of studies on the literature review that are being developed for the elaboration of a doctoral thesis. Tried to make clear what is meant by demonstration in Mathematics and through the theory of semiotic registers of representation, Mathematics show that this activity is linked to the different representations can have the same object of study. At the end we concluded that working with demonstrations in geometry that takes into account the diversity of representation registers can students develop in their learning.
