Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan efek hipoglikemik air rebusan daun sukun pada mencit putih jantan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode glucose oral test pada kelompok mencit yang mendapatkan perlakuan air rebusan daun sukun (dosis I 300mg/ Kg BB; dosis II 600 mg / KgBB), kelompok kontrol positif (glibenklamid) dan kontrol negatif. Hasil penelitian dianalisa dengan menggunakan Anova Satu Arah yang kemudian dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa air rebusan daun sukun (Artocarpus altilis) memiliki efek antihiperglikemia (p<0,05) jika di bandingkan dengan kontrol negatif. Adapun dosis 2 (600mg/ Kg BB) merupakan dosis terbaik dengan efek antihiperglikemik secara statistik sama dengan efek antihiperglikemik glibenklamid. Kata kunci: Artocarpus altilis, antihiperglikemik, anova 1 arah, Duncan, Glucose oral test ABSTRACT Boiled water of leaves breadfruit (Artocarpus altilis) is one plant that can be used for treatment of diabetes mellitus. The purpose of this study was to determine the antihiperglycemic activity of boiled water breadfruit leaves on male white mice. The research was conducted by using oral glucose test in the group of mice who received treatment doses boiled water of leaves breadfruit (dose I 300mg / kg dan dose II 600 mg / KgBB) and control positif group (glibenclamid) and control negative group. Results were analyzed using One Way ANOVA followed by Duncan test. The results showed that the Boiled water of leaves breadfruit (Artocarpus altilis) has the effect statistically antihyperglycemic (p> 0.05) when compared with the negative control. As for the dose II (600 mg /KgBB) is the best dose to the antihyperglycemic effect was statistically the same as the antihyperglycemic effect of glibenclamide.
