Job satisfaction is a crucial factor that determines the performance of the
employees. However, plenty of researches has been studies on this topic, but
very limited studies focus on Polytechnic employees. Therefore, this study
aims to examine the influence of job satisfaction and employee performance in
the context of Polytechnic employees. The quantitative and cross-sectional
method was employed. A total of 130 respondents answered the survey. The
simple regression analysis result reveals that job satisfaction significantly and
positively influenced employee performance. This suggests that enhancing job
satisfaction among Polytechnic employees is critically important to improving
their performances. More details about its findings and implications are
discussed.
