ACTAS DAS JORNADAS DE JOVENS INVESTIGADORES DE FILOSOFIA PRIMEIRAS JORNADAS INTERNACIONAIS Krisis – 2009 Gonçalo MARCELO 1 Consciência Moral e Reivindicação Social: em Torno do Paradigma do Reconhecimento Gonçalo MARCELO FCSH – Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Portugal) RESUMO: Este artigo pretende apresentar de forma sucinta um paradigma emergente na Filosofia e nas Ciências Sociais, a saber, o paradigma do reconhecimento, a partir da exposição de algumas das teses de Axel Honneth. Tomando como ponto de partida da análise a obra Kampf um Anerkennung, cujo modelo tripartido de reconhecimento se assume como o mais produtivo, aponta-se no entanto para a necessidade de ultrapassar o carácter institucional desta perspectiva, no sentido de uma politização do reconhecimento que assuma o carácter de uma crítica do poder instituído. ABSTRACT: This paper aims to present, in a very succinct manner the paradigm of recognition, which has recently been given some attention both in Philosophy and the Social Sciences. “ssuming that “xel Honneth’s tripartite model of recognition, as it is presented in The Struggle for Recognition is the most productive model of recognition presented so far, I will briefly analyze its main arguments and ultimately point to some of the objections it must be faced with; I will point two of the directions in which it must be corrected: the need to go beyond its institutional character and the force it could be given if ȃpoliticizedȄ towards a critique of traditional power structures.
