When all are unmanned ve- hicle then tracking of that vehicles and avoiding obstacles is the main task. Current work which has already carried out incorporated in this review article. Keywords: Unmanned Arial Vehicle (UAV), Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UUV), Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV), Obstacle detection system(ODS) INTRODUCTION In robotics, collision or the obstacle avoidance is the specific work of achiev- ing some control objective subject to some constraints. Obstacle avoidance is a main element for unmanned system if it is to reach its destination without obstacles. The ODS is the strategy of control in ro- bots. It always provide the collision free motion. Different types of the sensors are used for achievement of the collision free result in obstacle avoidance system. The Obstacle Avoidance System uses highly advanced path planning algorithms to find the most accurate, safe, collision free path from starting position to destina- tion. Obstacle avoidance system is a main task in any unmanned vehicles or robots. This is very useful for avoidance of acci- dents. This system is made to reach the destination by reducing the risk of colli- sion. This system is useful in UAV, UUV and USV. This system is also implement- ed for elderly people and visually im- paired peoples. Different methods are used in different application for collision avoidance and reach the target. In this paper different obstacle avoiding applications are discussed in details. Here in this paper how ODS works for im- paired people and elderly people woks is discussed in detail. The ODS also useful for many vehicle to avoid collision is ex- plained. This paper consists of the detail review of all types of vehicles such as UAV, UUV and USV. OBSTACLE AVOIDANCE APPLICATIONS Visually Impaired People The research on obstacle avoidance was implemented with visually impaired peo- ples. Sensor technology was adapted. Ul- trasonic sensors, vibration motors, power supplies and a microcontroller was im- plemented for the detection and avoidance of the obstacles. The obstacles detection technology was presented with guiding technology with the help of actuators and fuzzy logic. The system which can be eas- ily worn by the people and was washable was developed on the cloths [1]. A dense disparity map used for detection. A ground plane estimation algorithm based on Random Sample Consensus (RANSAC) plus filtering techniques used for the detection of the obstacles. Beep sounds with different frequencies used for the warning system. Audio bone conduct- ing technology used for importing the sound for detection of the obstacles [2].
