The system provides high quality, relevant and timely information that supports decision making. The implementation of this system is a complicated process with significant risk as huge amount of money and time is involved. A review of literature has revealed that the success in implementing SCMIS is not very encouraging. This study explored critical factors for the successful implementation of the system.
