This pandemic has forced the government to implement Large-Scale Social Restrictions and the Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities. This has a negative impact on one of the small-scale businesses, namely Ibu Olan's home-based business because there is a decline in people's purchasing power which has an impact on the profit of Ibu Olan's business which decreases. This problem experienced by Ibu Olan has become a dynamic that is also felt by other small-scale businesses. In order for this business to continue to survive in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic storm, it can use one of the methods contained in the Linear Program, namely the Simplex method. The main objective of this research is to help small-scale businesses in terms of resource optimization. As a result, Ibu Olan's home- based business earns a profit of IDR 90,000,- per day from the sales of Sampoerna and Surya cigarettes. These results are used as a reference or benchmark for small businesses in terms of making decisions for business development and the main guarantee is that this method provides the best solution for problem solving. Keywords: optimization, small scale business, linear programming, simplex method ABSTRAK Saat perkembangan dalam bidang industri bergerak maju, semakin banyak persaingan yang terjadi, namun sekarang ini terdapat satu penghalang utama yaitu pandemi Covid-19. Pandemi ini membuat pemerintah menerapkan Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar serta Pemberlakuan Pembatasan Kegiatan Masyarakat. Hal ini memberikan dampak negatif bagi salah satu usaha berskala kecil yaitu usaha rumahan ibu Olan karena terjadi penurunan daya beli masyarakat berimbas dengan keuntungan usaha ibu Olan yang juga berkurang. Masalah yang dialami ibu Olan ini menjadi dinamika yang dirasakan juga oleh usaha berskala kecil lainnya. Agar usaha ini dapat terus bertahan di tengah badai pandemi Covid-19, maka dapat menggunakan salah satu metode yang terdapat dalam Program Linier yaitu metode Simpleks. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah membantu usaha berskala kecil dalam hal optimasi sumber daya. Hasilnya usaha rumahan ibu Olan mendapatkan keuntungan sebesar Rp.90.000,- per hari dari hasil penjualan rokok Sampoerna dan Surya. Hasil ini dijadikan sebagai acuan atau tolak ukur bagi usaha kecil dalam hal pengambilan keputusan untuk pengembangan usaha serta yang menjadi jaminan utama adalah metode ini memberikan solusi yang paling baik untuk pemecahan masalah..
