Selain itu, rekam medis digunakan untuk menilai mutu pelayanan kesehatan khususnya di rumah sakit yang mampu menyelenggarakan pelayanan yang baik, lengkap dan tepat waktu. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui determinan ketidaklengkapan rekam medis rawat inap kasus diabetes mellitus di RSUD Ade M. Djoen Sintang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif, dengan metode yang digunakan cros sectional. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 68 responden berdasarkan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi sqaure. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara jenis kelamin (nilai p=0,019 dan OR=3,146), lama kerja (nilai p=0,008 dan OR=3,184), pengetahuan (nilai p=0,018 dan OR=2,226), sikap (nilai p=0,024 dan OR=2,770) dengan kelengkapan pengisian dokumen rekam medis oleh petugas di rawat inap kasus diabetes mellitus di RSUD Ade M. Djoen Sintang. Kelengkapan pengisian rekam medis belum berjalan secara optimal. Disarankan kepada petugas untuk dapat mengisi rekam medis sesuai SOP. Kata Kunci : rekam medis; jenis kelamin; lama kerja; pengetahuan; sikap ABSTRACT The medical record is a file containing the patient's identity record, examination results, medications given and actions taken on the patient. In addition, medical records are used to assess the quality of health services, especially in hospitals that are capable of providing good, complete and timely services. The aim of the study was to determine the determinant of incompleteness of inpatient medical records for diabetes mellitus cases at the Ade M. Djoen Sintang general hospital. This research is a quantitative study, with the method used is cross sectional. The research sample was 68 respondents based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data analysis using chi sqaure test. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between gender (p value = 0.019 and OR = 3.146), length of work (p value = 0.008 and OR = 3.184), knowledge (p value = 0.018 and OR = 2.226), attitudes (p value = 0.024 and OR =2.770) with completeness of filling in medical records documents by officers in inpatient diabetes mellitus cases at the Ade M. Djoen Sintang General Hospital. Completeness of filling in medical records has not been running optimally. It is recommended that officers be able to fill in medical records according to standard operating procedures. Keywords: medical record; gender; length of work; knowledge; attitude
