Use of Non-native literature in Improving
Intrapersonal Skills of English Language Learners

Abstract:
The present study is an experimental study in which the researches hypothesize that Non-native
literature can improve intrapersonal communication skills of language learners. The
experimental group was given treatment through independent variable that is Non-native
literature whereas the other group was taken as controlled group and was given a usual type of
training. After six weeks training both of the groups were given post tests and it was found that
experimental group out performed the control group. It was found that non-native literature does
have a very positive effect on interpersonal communication skills of language learners, therefore
it may be included as much as possible in curriculum and may be used during teaching.
