ZooKeys 1072: 49–81. https://doi.org/10.3897/zookeys.1072.73345 Abstract Nine new species of the orb-weaver spider family Araneidae Clerck, 1757 from Menglun Town, Xishuang- banna, Yunnan, China are described: Acusilas tongi sp. nov. (♂♀), Chorizopes yui sp. nov. (♂♀), Chorizopesoides guoi sp. nov. (♂♀), Deione cheni sp. nov. (), D. yangi sp. nov. (♂♀), Hypsosinga pulla sp. nov. (♂♀), Mangora baii sp. nov. (♂♀), M. cephala sp. nov. (♂♀) and Milonia gemella sp. nov. (♂♀). Te genus Milonia Torell, 1890 is recorded from China for the frst time. Te previous description of Chorizopesoides wulingensis (Yin, Wang & Xie, 1994) from Libo County, Guizhou by Mi and Wang (2018) refers to Chorizopesoides annasesta- kovae sp. nov. (♂♀). Diagnostic photos of the habitus and copulatory organs of the new species are provided. Keywords Morphology, new record, orb-weaver spider, taxonomy Introduction Te spider family Araneidae Clerck, 1757 is the third largest family in Araneae, with a total of 3067 species in 177 genera worldwide (WSC 2021). In China, 402 species in 50 genera have been recorded (Li 2020, Yao and Li 2021, Li et al. 2021). Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden (XTBG) in Menglun Town lies in Mengla County, Yunnan Province, southwest China.
