The results of the research in this thesis are the settlement of the khalwat dispute in the Ketol District, Central Aceh Regency, in which the dispute is settled customarily by a deliberation process. Then each actor is charged with paying one or more oxen following the deliberation agreement between the parties. The sanctions that apply are very ineffective among people with middle and upper economic levels, for those who are middle and above do not feel the effects of the sanctions imposed, because it is very easy for them to pay the sanctions. Overview of Islamic law customary sanctions do not conflict with Islamic law because in Islamic law the sanction for seclusion is ta'zir, namely the punishment determined by the ruler or judge, which in customary law in Central Aceh who acts as a judge is Reje Kampung.
