(Renda, 2021) 439 STUDI FENOMENOLOGI DAMPAK PENDIDIKAN AGAMA KRISTEN TERHADAP PERGESERAN GELAR KEBANGSAWANAN DI SUMBA TIMUR Trijuliani Renda 1* 1 Institut Agama Kristen Negeri Kupang, Kota Kupang, 85231. * Email korespondensi : julianirenda@gmail.com 1 Diterima Juni 2021; Disetujui Juli 2021; Dipublikasi 30 Juli 2021 Abstract: The research aims to describe 1) the model of Christian Religious Education in Sumbanese culture, 2) the form of degree shift in social stratification in East Sumba, and 3) the impact of Christian religious education on the shift in the nobility of the Sumbanese people in social, political and economic life. The method used in this research is qualitative. This research was taken using observation, in-depth interviews and documentation review. The results of the study prove that the Christian religious education model respects the context and is centered on Christ. The form of the title shift is evolutive when viewed from the perspective of modern society but becomes chaos for indigenous peoples. The impact in social life is the creation of Christian spiritual values in society. Political Impact there is the term political axis/political maramba/nobles for those who have positions in government so that the community without limits pursues every achievement in life including politics, while the economic impact of the creation of a modern society with local packaging so that nobles are equated with ownership of goods and services. There was a title shift in East Sumba and this title shift towards a positive direction where through Christian religious education everyone is touched without limits to push up every stage to be achieved for freedom and equality. Keywords : title shift, nobility, East Sumba Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan 1) model Pendidikan Agama Kristen dalam budaya Sumba, 2) bentuk pergeseran gelar dalam stratifikasi sosial di Sumba Timur, dan 3) dampak dari Pendidikan Agama Kristen terhadap pergeseran gelar kebangsawanan masyarakat Sumba dalam kehidupan sosial, politik dan ekonomi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Penelitian ini diambil dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara mendalam dan review dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian membuktikan Model Pendidikan agama Kristen yang menghargai konteks dan berpusat pada Kristus. Bentuk pergeseran gelar yakni evolutive jika dilihat dari pandangan masyarakat modern namun menjadi chaos bagi masyarakat adat. Dampak dalam kehidupan sosial yakni terciptanya nilai-nilai rohani Kristen dalam masyarakat. Dampak Politik adaya istilah umbu politik/maramba politik bagi yang memiliki jabatan dalam pemerintahan sehingga masyarakat tanpa batas mengejar setiap capaian hidup termasuk politik, sedangkan dampak ekonomi terciptanya masyarakat modern dengan kemasan local sehingga maramba/bangsawan disetarakan dengan kepemilikan barang dan jasa. Terjadi pergeseran gelar di Sumba Timur dan pergeseran gelar ini menuju ke arah positif dimana melalui pendidikan agama Kristen setiap orang tanpa batas tersentuh hatinya untuk mendongkrak setiap tahapan yang ingin dicapai demi kebebasan dan kesetaraan.
