Riskesdas (2018) shows that the prevalence of risk of chronic energy deficiency (KEK) in women of childbearing age is the highest experienced by adolescents aged 15-19 years which reached 36.3%. One of the factors that influence the occurrence of SEZ in adolescent girls is attention to physical appearance (body image) and eating patterns. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in knowledge, attitudes and actions of students before and after nutritional counseling at Madrasah Aliyah Private Madrasah Alauddin students. This research is a pre-experimental study with a one-group pretest- posttest design. The number of respondents obtained as many as 52 samples with Simple Random Sampling technique. Knowledge data was obtained from a statement questionnaire, data on energy intake, protein intake, fat intake and carbohydrate intake were obtained from a 2x24 hour recall form. The data obtained were analyzed using the Univariat test, normalitas test and Wilcoxon test. The results showed that there was an effect of nutritional counseling on the level of knowledge and actions of respondents, while in the attitudes of respondents there was no significant change in the attitudes of respondents before and after counseling. There was no significant change in the intake of respondents before and after counseling. Respondents need to pay attention and increase the consumption of foods that are high in calories and nutrients as well as increase their diet and meal portions. As a follow-up to nutrition counseling activities, students are expected to participate more in nutrition counseling activities for teenagers at school.
