17 1 Technologies and digital literacy: an experience with Zotero Tecnologías y alfabetizaciones digitales: una experiencia con Zotero Tecnologias e letramentos digitais – uma experiência com o Zotero Federal University of Bahia (Brazil) Doctoral student in the Postgraduate Program in Teaching, Philosophy and History of Sciences (PPGEFHC / UFBA), where she develops research in the area of scientifc literacy on digital platforms. She has a master’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), where she developed research in the area of educational technologies with a focus on Virtual Learning Environments, Bibliographic Managers and their contributions to Digital Literacy. She is part of the Virtual Communities Research Group (CV). She has a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (UFBA, 2014) and a Bachelor of Geophysics (UFBA, 2016). She has a degree in Pedagogy from the Bahia Faculty of Education (1985), a Master’s (1998) and a PhD (2004) in Education from the Federal University of Bahia. She is a postdoc in the feld of electronic games and learning at the Università degli Studi di Torino in Italy. She is currently a professor and researcher at the Institute of Humanities, Arts and Sciences-IHAC-UFBA. She has experience in the area of Education and Digital Games, conducting research on the digital universe and its interfaces, especially in the following topics: electronic games, interactivity, mobility and education. She has also researched serial television narratives. She coordinates research and development projects in digital games such as: Triad (FINEP / FAPESB / UNEB), Buzios: Ecos da Liberdade (FAPESB), Guardianes del Bosque (CNPq, FAPESB, Proforte), Brazil 2014: Rumo ao Hexa (SEC- Ba), Insitu (SEC-Ba), Industriali (SEC-Ba), Game Studies (FAPESB), DOM (SEC-Ba), Janus (SEC-Ba) and Gamebook (CAPES / FAPESB). For eleven years, she has been organizing and coordinating the Seminar on Electronic Games, Education and Communication - Building New Paths.
