Tradisi haul ini diselenggarakan setiap akhir bulan Sura untuk mengenang jasa seorang tokoh yang bernama Eyang Muhyidin. Tokoh ini dikenal masyarakat sebagai pembuka wilayah di Dusun Ploso, Desa Ujung-Ujung dan penyiar agama Islam yang pertama. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskripsi analisis. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa tradisi Haul yang awalnya hanya dilaksanakan oleh kelompok masyarakat tingkat dusun, berkembang menjadi tingkat desa, dan bahkan lintas desa atau wilayah. Jumlah pengunjung yang semakin banyak mendorong panitia untuk memperkenalkan budaya dan kuliner khas dari Desa Ujung-Ujung, melalui kirab budaya dan bazar di tengah acara haul. Dari sinilah interaksi dan harmoni sosial warga masyarakat tercipta yang tidak terlepas dari pengaruh karakter budaya Jawa. Haul Eyang Muhyidin yang telah menjadi ritual wajib tahunan tersebut, juga mentransformasi masyarakat menjadi suatu simbol yang sarat makna. Tradisi ini menjadi simbol kehidupan sosial yang harmonis, karena memberikan peluang bagi aspek-aspek perekat sosial yang terdiri dari aspek sosial keagamaan, budaya dan peran pemimpin serta tokoh agama dapat berfungsi dengan baik. Kata kunci: Harmoni sosial, Tradisi haul, Desa Ujung-Ujung Abstract This study aims to describe the benefits of the Haul tradition to counter the intolerance and religious nuances that are rife in Indonesia through the Haul tradition in Ujung-ujung village. This haul tradition is held at the end of every month of Sura to commemorate the services of a figure named Eyang Muhyidin. This figure is known to the community as opening an area in Ploso Hamlet, Ujung-Ujung Village and the first announcer of Islam. This study uses a qualitative approach with the description analysis method. The results showed that the Haul tradition which was originally only carried out by community groups at the hamlet level, developed into the village level, and even across villages or regions. The increasing number of visitors encouraged the committee to introduce culture and culinary specialties from Ujung-Ujung Village, through cultural carnival and bazaar in the middle of the haul event. This is where the interaction and social harmony of the citizens is created which is inseparable from the influence of Javanese cultural character. Haul Eyang Muhyidin, who has become an annual compulsory ritual, also transforms society into a symbol full of meaning. This tradition is a symbol of harmonious social life, because it provides opportunities for social glue aspects consisting of social, religious, cultural aspects and the role of leaders and religious leaders to function properly.
