Abstract. The work environment whether it is a business office or industrial envi-
ronment, needs to be safe, healthy, hygienic, and comfortable. A company is an
organization made up of people that invest in the profit objective of selling goods
or services. This paper aims to publish the data collected from the environmen-
tal thermal comfort and the method of measurements taken in the metalworking
industry. The qualitative and quantitative, with structured interviews and comfort
variables measurements were taken. The data collected are particularly valuable
due to the experimental conditions under which they raised its practical appli-
cation is limited to each work environment. The survey carried out on the shop
floor allowed randomly to collect measurements on places generating heats or
poor ventilation systems. The conclusion that a comfortable thermally controlled
industry environment can improve working conditions and ensure the highest level
of health protection and in industries’ environmental quality.

1 Introduction
The work environment whether it is a classroom, hospital, office, or industrial environ-
ment, needs to be safe, healthy, hygienic, and comfortable. In any of these workstations,
the enterprise should provide maximum protection of the physical and moral integrity
of employees. A company is an organization made up of people that invest with profit
objective selling goods or services, also having the purpose to meet the needs of society,
generate jobs, and create wealth [1].
It is known that it can cause a high cost for the company’s lack of awareness on the risk
of the professions of employees when it stops in minimizing even eliminating those risks
bringing costs to the union coffers and own when accidents happen, mutilations even
deaths. Can’t hide costs with the high labor indemnities arising from judicial sentences
