The study uses the descriptive and exploratory research design using the quantitative research approach. field data was obtained using structured closed ended questionnaire administered within Damaturu metropolis using stratified simple random .One hundred and forty(140) Questionnaires were distributed out of which one hundred and five were used for the analysis .The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and mean ranking through the use of statistical package for sciences (SPSS).water supply, educational centers and drainage system are the infrastructural facilities ranked the highest provided while power supply and waste disposal are ranked the lowest in the neighbourhoods of Gwange and Sabon-Fegi areas of Damaturu Metropolis.
