1 PERSEPSI ANGGOTA CLUB MOTOR TERHADAP GAYA HIDUP KOMUNITAS DI SURABAYA Fitri Nurbaity 1 Burhan Bungin 2 A.A.I. Prihandari Satvikadewi 3 ABSTRACT This research is motivated as a means of transportation that is integral lifestyle for society. As well as Motor Gede become the image of it’s owner, become a hobby for the owner, and in this case the owner or user of the big motorcycle start looking for a container or a place to channel his hobby which later formed the club MoGe. This study aims to determine the perceptions of the lifestyle community in the march MoGe. Theory used is the theory S-O-R is a reaction that is spesific to spesific stimuli so that one can expect and compatibility between the message and the reaction communicant. Research found that club motor gede classified as fancy or high class club as a lifestyle and it’s members have the perceptions that the club motor gede must have solidarity and high loyalty to fellow members. Keywords: PERCEPTION, LIFESTYLE, CLUB MOGE ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi sebagai alat transportasi yang merupakan gaya hidup yang tidak terpisahkan bagi masyarakat. Seperti halnya motor gede yang menjadi citra bagi pemiliknya, menjadi sebuah hobi bagi pemiliknya, dan dalam hal ini pemilik atau pengguna sepeda motor gede mulai mencari wadah atau tempat untuk menyalurkan hobinya yang kemudian membentuk club motor gede. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi atas gaya hidup komunitas motor gede dalam perkumpulannya. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori S-O-R yang merupakan reaksi yang bersifat khusus terhadap stimulus khusus sehingga seseorang dapat mengharapkan dan kesesuaian antara pesan dan reaksi komunikan. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa club motor gede tergolong club mewah atau high class sebagai gaya hidup dan anggota-anggotanya mempunyai persepsi bahwa club moge harus mempunyai solidaritas dan loyalitas yang tinggi terhadap sesama anggotanya.
