Tamansari No. 1 Bandung 40116 *420astrajingga@gmail.com Abstract. One of the activities in mining activities carried out by PT Kalimantan Prima Persada is blasting activities. This blasting activity produces energy that will break the rock. The rest of the energy generated can be in the form of ground vibrations. Ground shaking caused by blasting is considered to have the most negative effect on the stability of the mine slope (Chen, 2010). The ground shaking due to blasting can disturb the stability of the slopes which can result in landslides. To be able to control ground vibrations resulting from blasting activities so that slope conditions remain stable, it is necessary to study the effect of ground vibrations due to blasting on slope stability. The factors that can be controlled from blasting activity on slope stability are the load of the explosives, the type of explosives, the distance of the detonation and the time delay (delay period). The magnitude of the ground vibration is closely related to the explosive charge per time delay or the amount of explosives that explode simultaneously in a vulnerable time of 8m/s. The greater the amount of explosives that explode simultaneously, the greater the ground vibration that will be generated. This study aims to analyze the effect of ground vibrations due to the blasting process on slope stability in order to obtain a safe distance for blasting to slope stability, allowed explosive loads to keep the slope conditions safe. The acceleration of ground vibrations obtained in the research of lowwall and sidewall pit mahogany varied greatly with the smallest value of 0,008 g or 78,45 mm/s2 and the largest value of 0,07 g or 745,31 mm/s2. The value of acceleration greatly affects slope stability, where the value of the slope safety factor before and after receiving vibration loading from the safety factor value is 1,652 after getting a vibration loading of 0,07 g, the value of the safety factor is >1,3. Keywords: Blasting, Soil Vibration and Slope Stability. Abstrak. Salah satu kegiatan dalam aktivitas penambangan yang dilakukan PT Kalimantan Prima Persada adalah kegiatan peledakan. Kegiatan peledakan ini menghasilkan energi yang akan memecahkan batuan. Sisa dari energi yang dihasilkan tersebut dapat berupa getaran tanah. Getaran tanah yang disebabkan oleh peledakan dianggap memiliki efek paling negatif pada kestabilan lereng tambang (Chen,2010). Getaran tanah akibat peledakan dapat mengganggu kestabilan lereng yang dapat berakibat terjadinya longsoran. Untuk dapat mengontrol getaran tanah yang dihasilkan dari kegiatan peledakan agar kondisi lereng tetap stabil, perlu dilakukan studi mengenai pengaruh getaran tanah akibat peledakan terhadap kestabilan lereng.
