En este contexto, el Museo O’Higginiano y de Bellas Artes de Talca, afectado gravemente por el terremoto de 2010, custodia una interesante y poco conocida colección pictórica de artistas europeos que presentamos cuando dicho espacio cultural acaba de cumplir medio siglo. ABSTRACT: This work is a tribute to the work being done by museums, especially in those places where nature is cyclically hostile as in the case of Chile. In this context, the Museum O’Higginiano and Fine Arts of Talca, seriously affected by the 2010 earthquake, custody an in- teresting and little known collection of paintings by European artists presented when the cultural space has just celebrated half a century.
