The development of technology takes place very rapidly. These developments affect various aspects of life. One of them is education. Currently, technology in education has penetrated various subjects including English. The use of technology in teaching English has an important role. It is proven that technology plays a positive role in promoting students' activities and initiatives in learning English. Solanki (2012), Ahmadi (2018) and Mofareh (2019) observe that the use of technology in English language teaching and learning has many benefits. With this kind of learning, the learning process will be more student-centered. Students will be more motivated, more active, and have a high interest in the learning process. So that they will acquire practical and effective language skills. In the future, the use of technology in language learning must be improved and developed further so that it can be maximized in facilitating learning for students. To achieve these learning objectives, of course, the teacher has a very important role. A teacher must understand, be trained, and have good knowledge and support to integrate technology into language teaching. So that later learning can run smoothly and successfully. Even though the reported studies above have been able to explain how technology plays a role in teaching English. But so far no one has seen more detail and focus on what technology is used, and also what English skills are taught. To fill this gap, the researcher tries to discuss more specific about one of the technologies that can be used in teaching English skills. Especially listening skills. This research will try to answer the benefits of using the ELLLO website in teaching listening and how students respond to the use of ELLLO in learning English listening.
