DICȚIONAR TOPONIMIC, GEOGRAFIC ȘI ISTORIC (2) Anatol EREMIA Institutul de Filologie Română ,,Bogdan Petriceicu-Hasdeu”, Chișinău (Republica Moldova) Abstract The second part of the dictionary includes the complex study of about 100 Bessarabian towns and villages, whose names contain the initial B. The localities are researched from various standpoints: administrative, urban, social, demographic, economic, cultural. Their geographical and historical peculiarities have been partially reflected in the local place nomenclature, in the names of localities. The etymological study of major and minor toponymy highlights the linguistic and extralinguistic factors that contributed to the appearance and onymic evolution of place names. The results of this research can be used in encyclopedic editions, in various guidelines, as well as informative and normative guides. The main information can serve as a starting point for the creation and completion of websites of urban and rural communities. Key-words: derivatology, etymology, geography, onomastics, toponymy Résumé Le deuxième fragment de dictionnaire comprend l’étude complexe d’environ 100 de villes et village de Bessarabie, dont les noms contiennent l’initiale B. Ces localités sont analysées sous divers aspects : administratif, édilitaire, social, démographique, économique, culturel. Leurs particularités géographiques et historiques ont aussi trouvé partiellement un reflet dans la nomenclature topique locale, dans les noms de localités. L’étude étymologique de la toponymie majeure et mineure met en évidence les facteurs linguistiques et extralinguistiques ayant contribué à l’apparition et à l’évolution onymique des noms topiques. Les résultats de cette recherche puissent trouver leur utilisation dans d’éventuelles éditions encyclopédiques, dans divers guides informatifs et normatifs, pouvant aussi servir comme support pour créer et compléter les sites Internet des communautés urbaines et rurales.
