Space Element Reduction Duplication (SERD) model emerges out of nothing and produces photon-like information packets and light-like cosmological horizons Thomas L. Wood June 2022 Abstract This document describes a correspondence between photons and emergent propagating infor- mation packets (PIPs) in the Space Element Reduction Duplication (SERD) model introduced in a rudimentary form in [19][20] and introduces mathematical and empirical evidence through computer simulations of light speed constrained growth, similar to that of our own universe. The SERD model is a network of connected ‘nodes’ called Point Particles (PP) which represent the fundamental constituents of all matter and particles (and therefore observers) separated by strings of consecutive and fundamental elements called Space Elements (SE). The SEs duplicate and reduce while the PPs split and merge through discrete time. These are known as the actions of the elements and create a highly dynamic multi-way system. Elements have an awareness of the information around them and communicate with their nearest neighbours through time. Most importantly this system is fully emergent out of two fundamental philosophical principles which explain where the rules originate from and which are formally debuted in this paper. 1
