Is is possible to improve the performance of network by using Zigbee. The main features of Zigbee are low cost, low data rate, low power consumption. We are using this feature to increase the strength of small batteries of the node in the network. We are using tree structure to transmit the data packet from zigbee end device to destination. Ad-hoc on demand distance vector routing and Shortcut tree routing are compared, Number of nodes with respect to performance parameters Average energy, Delay, Packet delivery ratio, packet dropped, Residual energy, throughput. Simulation in 2.34 version is carried out and ESTR is better than AODV in this study. The performance of the multi-package delivery ratio of ESTR can also be relatively small compared to AODV. The end-to-end performance of STR delays is not good compared to AODV. So we propose the new system ASTR (Advanced Shortcut Tree Routing. The main goal is the improve the overall performance of the parameters of ASTR. Keywords AODV, ESTR, ASTR, WSN, ZIGBEE.
